Using Technology to Assess and Support Learning - Focus for 2010: Expanding e-Assessment

Location : America Square Conference Centre in the City of London
Date :      17th and 18th March 2010

Now in it's SEVENTH year

Overview

More and more educational institutions, training providers and employers are examining the use of IT to assess skills, knowledge and understanding. Whether:

* as part of an on-going programme of study (formative assessment) in school, college or workplace, or

* as the end point of a course or programme of work (summative assessment),

the use of computer systems to design, deliver and mark assessments and award qualifications is becoming more and more important.

For those looking at purchasing or using established computer based testing and assessment (CBT&A or e-Assessment) systems, the choice of products and methods can be daunting.

This conference and exhibition gave practical guidance and advice on the selection, purchase and implementation of computer based testing and assessment.
Where are the next developments in Computer Based Assessment?
How can I choose which products and services to use?
How will the introduction of CBT&A affect teaching and learning?
